Trevin David Band plays the blues... and more. Without a doubt TDB has its roots in the blues and for the larger part our repertoire consists of blues (oriented music). The Texas shuffle is one of our mainstays. We just can't seem to stay away from that feel good  backbeat . Stevie Ray Vaughan, one of the prime adjudicators of the Texas shuffle, is well represented in our setlist. The Allman Brothers' Band has its fare share of representation on our hitlist as well. Their tunes lend themselves to some meandering improvisation during our live shows. Ofcourse as a guitar oriented band, we don't skip Jimi Hendrix either. And if it suits the occasion we might even step out of character and play some 'poppy' stuff like Hey Joe, I shot the sheriff or Superstition which often serve as  welcomed appetizers in our multi-course blues menu. Irrespective of what we play, we feel that the music we play should be representative of the band. At the end of the day that's what defines the Trevin David Band.

To get and idea of an evening with TDB, here are a few staples of our  repertoire:

Let me Love you baby: Buddy Guy  --  Whippin' Post: Allman Brothers' Band  --  Mary had a little lamb: Buddy Guy  --  All along the watchtower: Bob Dylan  --  Tightrope: Stevie Ray Vaughan  --  In Memory of Elizabeth Reed: Allman Brothers' Band  --  Blues Thang: Luther Allison  --  Little Wing: Jimi Hendrix  --  Couldn't stand the weather: Stevie Ray Vaughan  --  Cold shot: Stevie Ray Vaughan  --  ... and since of late
our own compositions.
